Since the early 2000s and advent of computer animation, there has been a decline in stop-motion
studios based in London. However, this has not deterred some new stop-motion studios from setting up
a base in the city such as Blink Ink and
Parabella studios. Blink Ink are touted as producing arguably the highest quality stop-motion commercials in the
UK. They produced the animation for the recent BBC Christmas commercial (See below).
Loose Moose are
another production company based in London. They have been producing stop-motion commercials
from the mid-90s and are still going strong today.
